TRUTH

What is TRUTH? In today’s world, TRUTH is widely taught to be whatever seems right to a person at any given time. Think about that. Could that thinking be any more deadly?
In God’s word, Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.” Those words will stand when everything else fails.
To prevent total depravity, humans need a standard by which everything is measured. God gave us that standard in His word, and our country was founded on that standard.
To have eternal life a person must accept by faith that God’s word is TRUTH. If one’s interpretation of a scripture conflicts with another scripture, that person’s interpretation or application of it is wrong. If a statement, theory, belief, or idea conflicts with God’s word, then that statement, theory, belief, or idea is in error; God’s word stands.
Over a period of 1200-1500 years and 40+ authors, God’s word was written as God spoke to each writer through His Holy Spirit.
Nothing predicted by God has failed to happen exactly as He predicted it in God’s timing. Humans have tried again and again to disprove God’s word, historically and otherwise. They have failed from every angle and end up proving it’s TRUTH.
There are numerous records in God’s word showing the fulfillment of His predictions. Those that have not been fulfilled are yet to come in God’s time. Look for, and be ready for their fulfillment! They WILL come!
Those who have no standard for TRUTH are always searching, floundering, and never at peace because they have no basis for their beliefs.
There can be no real joy without God’s TRUTH. There can be no salvation without God’s TRUTH.
To lead someone to Christ is impossible unless that person accepts God’s word as TRUTH. Someone plants the seed; God’s Holy Spirit must bring each person to TRUTH. Then each person must choose to accept or deny the TRUTH.
John 8:32-“And ye shall know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH shall set you free.”
Have you accepted that every jot and tittle of God’s word is TRUTH? Do you like to discount certain scriptures because they make you uncomfortable? Do you twist scripture to suit your lifestyle? Have you ever read a scripture and thought, “That won’t work in today’s world?”
If you are saved, you were saved by accepting God’s way of salvation that is given in His word, John 3:16. That worked for you. The rest of God’s word will stand the TRUTH test too. Accept it so you can be free indeed!
