Our Project

Every year, National WMA selects a cause, or project, to raise funds for, usually a mission effort within the Baptist Missionary Association of America. This project is selected by vote at our annual meeting in the spring. Keep reading to learn more about this year’s project!

Water for Christ

A BMAA ministry that provides sustainable, clean drinking water to villages in developing countries.

Project Fundraising Goal: $75,000

What is Water for Christ?


Located in Conway, Arkansas, Water for Christ provides the following ministry:

  • Providing clean, sustainable drinking water through well drilling in underserved communities around the world

  • Sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ alongside every project—offering “living water” while meeting physical needs

  • Founded out of a mission to serve remote villages, beginning with well projects in Ghana, Africa

  • Equipping and training local communities to maintain wells for long-term sustainability

  • Supported by generous donors, churches, and partners who help fund wells, equipment, and outreach efforts

  • Working in partnership with the global Church to bring hope, meet needs, and make an eternal impact

Opportunities to get involved include:

  • Giving to fund water projects and equipment

  • Partnering as a church or organization

  • Joining mission trips to serve in the field

  • Praying for ongoing ministry and outreach efforts

Sharing living water with a thirsty world.

Water for Christ meets physical needs through clean water and spiritual needs through the love of Jesus.
